U.S. Payments will not rent, sell or otherwise make available to any third party for any reason any of the personal financial information that personally identifies you, your payment account(s) or payments you make through U.S. Payments.  Only the information necessary to complete your transaction will be submitted to the intended payee, financial institution, and payment networks that help us provide the service.  U.S. Payments will comply with all applicable laws, rules or regulations, including government agencies or court orders and may share information as required by law.


How we protect personal information:


To protect your data we follow industry standards and best practices to safeguard the personal and financial information entrusted to us. We perform annual 3rd party audits and maintain PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider certification. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, including but not limited to security measures that comply with applicable federal and state laws.


How long we keep your information:


U.S. Payments will generally keep your information for as long as necessary to complete your transaction and to comply with applicable law or payment regulations.


Right to be Forgotten Section (California Residents Only):


The CCPA (California Consumer Protection Act) provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information including access and deletion requests.


California residents may request a list of information and/or request deletion of data USP has collected from resident during the use of our services once a verified consumer request has been submitted. A deletion request may be denied if retaining such information is required by our service providers, payment regulations or law.


Verified consumer requests must include a detailed description of your request along with last name, phone number, biller name(s) and account number(s), Last 4 of either checking account number or credit card number or transaction IDs, and a return address. Only 1 verifiable consumer request within a 12-month period is allowed. Once a verifiable consumer request is received, USP strives to respond within 45 days. USP will deliver a written response and an explanation of denial if applicable. USP will not discriminate against any consumer for exercising these rights.
